We are a management consulting company designed to help organizations cultivate thriving workforces in sustainable and meaningful ways. We go beyond helping companies engage, retain, and develop employees by exploring and addressing complex issues that impact their most valuable asset– people.
Our team is composed of change agents who work as architects to transform organizations to be cohesive, efficient, and inclusive. We operate with a unique intention; to create environments that are kind and create hope for others. We do this by calling everyone in – rather than out– and operating from a strategic lens that focuses on finding ways to support the people inside organizations to reinvest in the value of each employee.
Figuring out systems and understanding the limitations of work environments and spaces is at the core of recruitment and effective retention. Organizations are challenged to provide inclusive environments that support the wholeness of the identities within their organizations. Diverse workforces aren’t enough.
We understand it can appear to be a monumental and demanding task. It requires objective perspectives, sizable resources, and robust knowledge of current and future issues/approaches. That’s where our team’s expertise and kindness come in. We hold organizations through every step of the integration process because we believe change is both essential and the true catalyst for evolution.
The core of social justice begins with you. It’s not about being an expert in every community or identity different from yours; it’s about ownership of yourself.
BE shows organizations how and helps them understand the why. We work to uncover the unique systems and attributes of organizations to discover opportunities for improvement. Then, our experienced and diverse group of experts use those insights to develop custom strategic solutions that ensure all members of an organization have the opportunity to contribute and thrive.
WHAT’S IN A NAME:
I‘ve been honored to be described as an architect of organizations. My reputation has always been the one that gets called in to set the foundation for success. I feel blueprints evoke the feeling of deliberate, strategic, and structurally sound plans that are designed with intention. Our team gets excited when an organization has all the pieces but is unsure how to reorganize them in a way that equitably and actively supports, values, and celebrates the perspectives of all people. So we come in as innovative thinkers that reimagine and redesign.
The idea of ‘being‘ is at the core of our work from a change management and equity perspective, so we also appreciate BE as the shortened version of Blueprint Evolution. At the end of the day, the goal is to inspire organizations to help their employees thrive. But you thrive when you can exist wholly, right?
The core of thriving, competitive businesses is an evolution that centers equity. We believe when organizations take ownership of their impact on spaces, it allows employees to evolve.
Evolution is the truest form of transformation. It is an active commitment that acknowledges things will never be the same– or perfect– but it holds awareness and responsibility that things always need change and refinement. It’s an understanding to always do better and challenge ourselves to be more. Evolution calls everyone in.
Evolution is hopeful. It meets people where they are. Maybe they didn’t get it right, but there’s always an opportunity to keep moving, and the movement is forward.
What makes Blueprint Evolution Unique?
Companies are either Management Consulting companies with a diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) drop-down or DEI companies with an organization, development, and leadership/management consulting dropdown. Both types of companies are using the right keywords to discuss diversity and/or change management. None of them exemplify expertise in both.
Blueprint Evolution is unique because we are both management consulting experts and DEI experts. We do everything through the lens of equity: strategic planning, budget allocations, marketing, training, coaching, website reviews, onboarding, all parts of the employee life cycle model, etc.
Our approach to management consulting IS equity. One can’t be successful without the other. Equity isn’t an add-on, it is EVERYTHING.
We speak of the business need for DEI which is the need for thriving workforces.
Everyone everywhere wants to know the business reason for DEI.
If they don’t understand the money impact – organizations struggle to get on board. It isn’t enough to just ask people to do the right thing. They need to understand the impact on retention, recruitment, and contribution. Our work supports leaders in remembering to pause to make thoughtful business decisions that help people contribute and thrive in their unique ways.
Equity is at the heart of transformational organizational change. Effective evolution cannot happen without equity.
I have spent almost two decades as a change management consultant and workforce strategist, partnering with organizations from Fortune 500 companies to regional non-profits. It’s becoming increasingly important to build a company that permits people to change things and gives organizations the confidence to make inclusive and expansive decisions.
The workforce is changing and organizations need to adapt. Thoughtful evolution is no longer optional, it is necessary for growth and success. It is at the heart of progress and achievement and we are proud to be offering this work. No one is doing it like Blueprint Evolution.
